Listen, Ill be rough here, I’ll say the truth as it is, and it’s all for your sake. In life, we have to make a lot of decisions, shit loads if you ask me. Its all about what dress to put on, what to prepare for dinner, who to date and what to buy. Now there are decisions that you can just make and forget about, and there are decisions that will determine how you will live the rest of your life. One of those decisions that will either make you or break you is whether you want to become a consumer, a mister everybody, or whether you want to grow a pair and become an entrepreneur.
You don’t need to have a PhD to know what the right choice is, because all you have to do is drive down to the closest mall and you’ll clearly see what you want to be. And trust me, its not the guy driving his minivan around with 3 kids strapped in back, waiting to get his next bonus so that he can finally take them to an “all inclusive”. Instead, why not become the next Sam Walton, the founder of Wall Mart, who uses those dollars to grow his business, launch new ventures and enjoy his life to the fullest.
See, being a consumer is just that. All your life evolves around buying, eating, watching and drinking. There is no difference between you and the dog next door. Bringing all what life is about to the mere act of consuming is just a clear sign that you didn’t understand what living is about.
Now with this grim picture in mind, you could be the man or women on the other side of the table, the person cashing in, the person creating the product that others consume, the person having an impact and making a name for him or herself. If you decide to evolve into an entrepreneur, understand that money is not your end goal, consuming all what you earned is not your ultimate trophy, you’re there to grow things, to make experiences better, to use money to create more money… you’re a visionary who knows how to handle cash, and you use your magic to spend bucks onto good investments that make your richer by the day.
You could take that $1000 your grandma gave you on your Barmitsva to buy the latest iPad, or you could use it to launch that app you’ve been working hard on refining. You could use money to satisfy a day’s needs or you could use it to launch what would later become a multi-billion dollar company.
Now if you don’t clearly see what the right pick is, I’m afraid you have some serious issues to deal with!
