I know, there has been so many conspiracy theories and rumors about Apple’s actual design, release date and features that you just can’t really rely on what the “news” tell you. But it’s finally official, this, this is for real! Recode reported that Apple has officially scheduled its annual iPhone announcement – on September 9th. Now if we go through the same cycle as last year, we´re expecting the new iPhone to hit the stores on the very same week as they announce it or the week after.
But let’s be honest, for the past two years, since the iPhone 5 was released back in 2012, the iPhone hasn’t really seen a change – at all. With that being said, the newer model is rumored to take foundational designs from Apples’ iPad as it’s expected to have a bigger screen, updated processors, a newer and better(!) camera and even more TouchID features.
According to Recode, “Apple SVP Eddy Cue described the company’s fall product pipeline as the best he’d seen in his 25 years at Apple.”
We´ll keep our ears sharp as we get closer to the release date of September 9.
