Internationally-acclaimed fashion designer and television personality Nicole Richie will bring her signature brand “House of Harlow 1960” to Dubai’s shores with a Celebrity Pop-Up Shop at The Beach –JBR during the 20th edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF). The store, which will be the UAE’s first-ever dedicated outlet of the House of Harlow 1960 line, will run from 20th January – 1st February 2015.

Fans can look forward to personalized styling sessions by the Creative Designer herself, who will be flying into Dubai from January 29th– 31st for a series of appearances across town, a fitting finale to DSF’s star-studded fashion line-up this year.
Nicole Richie is a woman of many talents; entrepreneur, philanthropist, author, producer, actress and more. Surrounded by music and costumes growing up, she developed an appreciation for fashion and this became a primary reason the House of Harlow 1960 collection was born. As the brand’s creative director, Nicole approaches design from her unique perspective and infuses each and every product with her distinctive sense of style. She has aligned with best-in-class partners to produce high quality collections across jewelry, ready to wear, footwear, handbags, sunglasses and most recently home fragrance.

“It’s really exciting to be hosting a pop-up shop for the House of Harlow 1960 brand during the Dubai Shopping Festival’s 20th anniversary edition. Dubai is definitely the next big global fashion darling and it’s an incredible opportunity to get a first-hand glimpse into the city’s exotic fashion and shopping culture,” said Richie.
Richie will kick off her Dubai visit on 29th January by meeting fashion journalists and bloggers and on 30th January will host an interactive styling session at her Pop-Up Shop, followed by a Meet-and-Greet session. On 31 January, she will attend a high tea reception and also host a styling session at The Dubai Mall.
Held under the theme, ‘Journey of Celebrations’, DSF is taking place from 1 January to 1 February this year. The 20th edition of DSF is organized by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM).
