Every single one of us, whether in a random situation or in a serious life changing position, tend to over-think the options that are present.
Doubting the future, projecting what you might be a decade ahead is quite frightening. But you have to bear in mind that what you do today is who you are tomorrow. In other words, the choices you make, the words you say, the actions you take and the behavior you acquire portrays the person that will arise from you later in the years. Just like any major construction, brick by brick, you’re piling on self-made decisions that will define YOU and nobody else.
You have to know that chances come once in a lifetime. If you’re lucky enough, it’ll come around again, but do not rely on the third time .You have to seize that moment and make a change, your yes or no of that very second, will lead you to a completely different future. Now wether it’s for the better or worse, that’s completely up to you. Nevertheless, know that humans tend to regret the things that they did not do, rather than did do. You have been chosen for an interview? Say yes and see what you can do. Do not decline fearing their rejection. If there is a fight, competition, a marathon, whatever – just do it! Do not feed yourself with the same old rational statement that ” I can’t” or “won’t”. You have to know that you could be that somebody else if you would just try it out! Don’t overthink it, just go for it. You will find yourself in the position to show more, give more and do more. With that being said, you will gradually improve, aiming for the best – to be the best.
(So) Trusting your instincts is a powerful weapon that only little of us use. Although our minds enable consciousness, perception and thinking, we shouldn’t really spend much time using them on our life decisions. I know it sounds crazy, but trust your gut, believe in your instinct and never, ever think twice.
