18 years old. Venture Capitalist at Binary Capital. TIME’s “30 Most Influential Teens of 2015”
Tiffany Zhong, or Tiff as everyone calls her, is 18 years old and already part of the real business life. Before even thinking of going to University, Tiffany was interning at Product Hunt, the popular start-up that crowd sources a daily digest of the latest apps and tech gewgaws.
Now, working at Binary Capital where she is called “brainy and ready to do whatever it takes” (Jonathan Teo, co founder of Binary Capital), she takes over the role as an analyst and associate finding the next hot consumer-tech start-ups. Her mentors include Stewart Butterfield, chief executive of Slack, and Steve Sinofsky, former head of Windows at Microsoft Corp.
Tiffany’s age has not kept her from already being voiced in the Times as one of “The 30 most influential teens of 2015”, in the Business Insider as one of “The 55 unknown rock stars in Tech” and in the Forbes as one of the “Five people to follow on twitter for good business content”.
